Oak Group Home

Oak is a big, comfy 6-bedroom home on a quiet street with a huge yard – great for playing outside! There’s even a walking trail nearby if you like to explore.

Kids and teens who live at Oak are between 11 and 17 years old, and both boys and girls live here. Even though the local school zone is the Morell family of schools, we try our best to help you stay at the school you already go to. There’s a group home van that can take you to and from school, and there’s also a school bus stop right outside the house!

Dining room with chalkboard wall, table and chairs and a brown couch next to a water dispenser
Bathroom with tile floor, bathtub, sink with mirror and laundry basket
Kitchen with two stoves, countertop, cabinets, and brown flooring
Bedroom with blue sheets, window with curtains, a dresser and chair
Living room with 5 brown recliners, TV, gaming systems, and light grey walls with a painting of an Oak tree.

We do fun activities every month and during each season – like swimming, going to the gym, fishing, skating, sledding, playing at the park, watching movies, and getting ice cream!

At Oak, you can help plan meals each week and even cook your own food with the help of staff. There are always snacks like cereal, fruit, bagels, and bread when you’re hungry, and once a month we have a take-out night – yum! Supper is when everyone comes together to eat and chat about their day.

Outside, there’s an awesome rink for skating in the winter and ball hockey in the summer. We also have a soccer net, a basketball net, and bikes you can use – or bring your own!
