Tyne Valley Group Home

Tyne Valley is a big, comfy house with 9 bedrooms, surrounded by lots of outdoor space – 8 acres of it! There’s a huge yard to play in and a walking trail nearby where you can go for fun walks and explore nature.

Kids and teens ages 12 to 18 live here – both boys and girls (exceptions can be made with the approval of the director). We do our best to help you stay at the school you are already going to, and there’s a group home van that can take you to and from school every day.

There are tons of fun activities planned every month and for each season – like swimming, going to the movies, getting ice cream, playing at the park, sledding, skating, and more! 

At Tyne Valley, you can help plan meals each week and can even help cook with the support of staff. There are always snacks like bread, bagels, cereal, and fruit available whenever you are hungry. Supper time is when everyone comes together to eat and chat about their day.

  • A gym area to move around and have fun!
