Cedar Group Home

Cedar is a warm and friendly house with 6 bedrooms, located on a quiet street with a big fenced-in-yard, great for playing outside! It’s also just a short walk to a fun park and a nature trail.

Kids who live at Cedar are between 5 and 12 years old, and both boys and girls live here (exceptions can be made with the approval of the Director). We try to help everyone stay at their own school, but if you need it, there’s a van that can take you to and from school every day. There’s also a school bus stop right outside the house!

We do lots of fun activities all year long – like swimming, going to the park, skating, sledding, watching movies, and getting ice cream. Every month and season brings new adventures!

At Cedar, you get to help plan meals, and we have a special “kids’ choice” days where you help pick what we eat! There are always yummy snacks like cereal, fruit, bagels, and bread available when you’re hungry. Supper time is when everyone comes together to eat and talk about their day.

One of the coolest parts of Cedar is our big sensory room! It has fun things like soft toys, colorful lights, activity calendars, and even a sensory swing you can relax in.
